Meet my friends, Simon and Caroline – Simon’s Soapbox

I’m so excited to introduce you to my friends Simon and Caroline, the sibling soap makers behind the brand Simon’s Soapbox. They make the most amazing soap together and are working to show the value of people with and without developmental disabilities working together.

In 2021, with the free time brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, Simon and Caroline decided to build a business. This was something they could do together as siblings not only to generate a little money but to give Simon, who has Down syndrome, a sense of purpose and dignity. They learned cold process soap making techniques together, and Simon experimented with the swirl design in the soap. Each bar has a unique swirl by Simon.

Simon and Caroline have put so much love and attention into their products. Each bar has a unique #SwirlBySimon and made with only the best ingredients like Fair Trade Shea Butter and Essential oils. Their packaging is bright and cheerful with their business story on the inner band of the package of their full size bars. 

Simon’s Soapbox soaps are also available in a mini size, which are perfect for party favours and conference swag. These cute soaps come fully wrapped with a bright sticker label with a full ingredient list.
