- WHAT IS MADE TO ORDER?

Made to order means you're purchasing an item before it's made. Instead of mass-producing inventory, we only make what's ordered, ensuring a more sustainable, waste-free approach.

WHY IS BEAR AND ROO NOT READY MADE?

Made to order allows us to produce responsibly, avoid overproduction, and reduce waste. It aligns with my values of sustainability and slow fashion-creating high-quality pieces with intention, not excess.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

We estimate shipping will begin in 4-8 weeks. Since I am the only one sewing the items and a mom of 3 sometimes things come up, I appreciate your patience and will keep you updated if the production takes longer; but you will likely get your order on the easier side.

HOW DO I KNOW MY SIZE?

I recommend checking out the size charts before ordering, or our Instagram highlights, or vip for some try ons. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out—I am  happy to help you find the perfect fit 

CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER AFTER PLACING IT?

Since every item is made-to-order, and supplies are ordered based on orders, we are unable to accept cancellations BUT I can sometimes accommodate a size or style change (prices may reflect these changes though). Please double-check your order before confirming to make sure there are no errors at shipping time. 

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE PRODUCT SELLS OUT?

Once a fabric option closes/ removed, that's it! I produce only what's ordered, so if you love something, don't wait— quantities are limited. I sometimes will order a small amount of extra fabric to account for any flaws, and if there are any left, they'll be available in VIP once all orders have shipped.

WILL YOU OFFER MADE TO ORDER FOR EVERY ITEM?

Recently scaling back styles to the best sellers, and most frequently purchased, has been substantially easier to manage. As I proceed on select styles per drop I may add different options that work better for different fabrics. But as always there is a custom option for that COME BACK / RETIRED style you must have.

CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE MY PREORDER?

Because our pieces are made-to-order, we're unabl accept returns or exchanges. However, if you have issues with your order, please reach out—we want you to love your BEAR AND ROO pieces!

YOU DON'T HAVE MY SIZE IN YOUR PREORDER?

I have  stuck with the sizes that have been ordered most frequently, to ensure I can produce responsibly, but I want BEAR AND ROO to be for everyone. If your size isn't available, please reach out—I will do my best to make it happen or keep it in mind for future production. Your feedback helps me move in the right direction!

SHIPPING COSTS SO MUCH IS THERE A CHEAPER WAY?

 I offer flat rate shipping for $18 anywhere in Canada, or FREE shipping on orders over $250—so it pays to stock up or team up with a friend (on a single purchased order)

We also offer a $3 Combine Shipping option—a rare perk that allows you to add to an existing unshipped order without paying full shipping again. This option is perfect if you forgot something or want to snag a restock!

Just a heads up: combining orders will extend your turnaround time to the later ship date.

Local pick up is always an options but remember I work from home and still have boundaries of when I’m working and when I’m not. So please make arrangements ahead of time as per the email you get when order is ready for pick up.
